Resistance training increases the strength and mass of muscles, bone strength and gets your Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) going. Having sufficient muscle strength, helps you perform daily activities with ease and can prevent injury. The development of small proteins in muscle cells is stimulated by resistance training, which enhances the muscles’ ability to generate force. It won’t make you look like a body builder, but will help you to burn off those unwanted calories while resting.

Studies have shown that resistance training can give more immediate results than some other forms of exercise, improving strength, physique and in building self-esteem.
At me fit, we achieve this in various ways by using relatively light weights or even your own body weight to give you results that you want.
